Merve Ozdemir is a licensed paralegal in Ontario who represents landlords before the Landlord and Tenant Board. She advises property owners, investors, and property managers on a broad range of matters, including non-payment of rent, persistent late payment, unauthorized occupants and transfers, damage to rental properties, substantial interference, personal use and purchaser's own use applications, renovation and demolition applications, tenant application defence, and negotiated settlements.
Before joining Landlord First LLP, Merve worked in the legal departments of both an international housing provider and smaller property management and housing companies. Her practice focused primarily on residential tenancy matters before the Landlord and Tenant Board, giving her extensive experience managing LTB files and working closely with landlords and property managers.
Merve also assists clients with enforcing judgments through the Small Claims Court, including garnishment proceedings, writs of seizure and sale, debtor examinations, and other available enforcement remedies.
Merve is currently pursuing a law degree while continuing to practise as a licensed paralegal.
